Dr. Hovanesian’s goal is to promote a safe environment in which you can address your desire for change. Change can be situational, behavioral, or attitudinal, and is indeed challenging. However, with the proper interventions, support, and structure, your desired life changes are possible. In a typical therapy session, a collaborative discussion will be focal to assist with building insight into patterns of thought and behavior, skill acquisition and implementation, and reinforcing personal authenticity. Dr. Hovanesian believes a strong rapport is imperative to a successful outcome, and as a result, will routinely request and implement your feedback into the therapy process.
